The 2026–2027 NbYO program year is an opportunity for young people to connect, learn, lead, and grow.

Who Can Participate?

 

NbYO is open to young people who:

  • Are ages 13–19

  • Have a connection to the 21217 community

  • Are interested in leadership, community, education, careers, or making a difference

  • Are willing to participate, learn, collaborate, and contribute to the NbYO community

NbYO is an after-school leadership program, so participants can come directly from school and spend time learning, connecting, creating, and leading in a supportive community environment.

What Can Youth Expect?

A typical NbYO experience may include:

  • Learn — Academic enrichment, college and career preparation, workshops, and skill-building.
  • Explore — Career pathways, postsecondary opportunities, leadership interests, and new possibilities.
  • Lead — Youth-led projects, events, discussions, advocacy, presentations, and community engagement.
  • Recharge — Mindfulness, reflection, wellness activities, relationship-building, and opportunities to check in.
  • Connect — Build relationships with other young people, mentors, community members, and partners.
  • Create — Develop creative projects, campaigns, social media content, community ideas, and youth-centered solutions.

NbYO Open House
6:00 PM | Baltimore Unity Hall

Come meet the NbYO team, learn about the program, meet other young people, explore leadership opportunities, and get your questions answered.

October 3, 2026

NbYO Applications Due

Submit your application for the 2026–2027 program year.

Fall 2026

SY26–27 NbYO Program Begins

Selected participants begin their NbYO leadership journey.

Regular NbYO Programming

Mondays & Wednesdays | 4:30–7:00 PM

Youth will participate in leadership development, academic enrichment, career and college preparation, wellness activities, community engagement, and youth-led programming throughout the school year.

Dates and activities may be updated throughout the program year. Check back regularly for announcements, events, and opportunities.

No Boundaries Youth Organizers (NbYO) is a youth leadership and organizing after-school program for teens ages 13–19 with a connection to Baltimore’s 21217 community. Through after-school programming, leadership development, civic engagement, wellness, and community action, NbYO supports young people in developing their voice, building leadership skills, and creating positive change in their communities.
